Danke für Ihre Antworten, von Booster mode habe ich gelesen. Wenn ich das richtig verstehe, würde dies verwendet werden, um alles aufzuwärmen, bevor Taron öffnet. Dies ist nur eine Spekulation: Eine Kalibrierung is nicht das Gleiche als Booster mode; für eine Kalibrierung müssen Personen im Zug sein. Die Kalibrierungsrunde dient dazu, das LSM so zu kalibrieren, dass es genug (aber nicht zu viel) Kraft ausübt, um den Zug auf dem Rest der Strecke zu halten. Der erste Launch (vielleicht auch der zweite) könnte mächtiger sein als normal. Wird mittels Sensoren erkannt, dass der Zug dan zu schnell fährt, wird diese wieder etwas reduziert. Es ist auch möglich, dass Taron dies bei jeder Fahrt überwacht und die Launches zwischenzeitlich anpasst. Dies könnte (neben dem Aufwärmen) auch erklären, warum sich manche Fahrten schneller oder langsamer anfühlen.

Auf captaincoaster.com habe ich eine interessante Rezension von Taron gelesen. Eine "Kalibrierungsrunde" wird hierin beschrieben. Vielleicht wurde das schon mal diskutiert, falls es zweimal gepostet wurde bitte ich um Entschuldigung. Taron • Phantasialand • Captain Coaster I had the most insane ride on Taron yesterday. The lap before me had a rollback, so after a bit of waiting, because of standard procedure (5 minutes orso), we were put on a calibration lap. And my god, the LSMs were soooo much more powerful than they were. The coaster is already insane normally, but the punch this calibration lap had. One word, mindblowing. Taron absolutely tried to kill us. Sooo good. Even the trimbreak at the end did _NOTHING_ and those tiny airtime hills flung us out of our seats. I can now understand why on coasters like Top Thrill Dragster they tell you to put your arms down, because I still feel that launch a day later in my neck hahaha. INSANE, absolutely INSANE. I wish that Taron could have all their laps like this. To add to that luck it was a night ride too! Generally outside these ultrarare laps my ranking currently would still place Taron at 5th place in my top list, but this rare lap absolutely blasts it to no 1. Wow, just wow. Vielleicht weiß jemand mehr darüber? Ich bin Taron mindestens 150 Mal geritten, würde aber wirklich gerne eine solche Kalibrierungsrunde erleben, wenn es sie gäbe!

I'm just someone who saw this video on YouTube while looking for new Taron material and enjoyed the new way it was represented. When riding Taron I make sure my keys and phone are safely tucked away in my coat and the zippers are closed.

Ich bin jetzt mehr als 90 Mal über Taron gefahren und habe erst jetzt eine neue Art entdeckt, den Launch zu erleben: gebückt! Beginnen Sie zuerst aufrecht zu sitzen und wenn der Launch beginnt, beugen Sie sich gans nach vorne. Sie fühlen dann, dass Sie sich anstrengen müssen, aber das Gefühl der Geschwindigkeit ist noch größer. In meinem Fall hat es eine große Wirkung beim ersten Start, aber weniger im zweiten. Vor allem, wenn Sie ganz vorne sitse, ist der Effekt der beste. Vielleicht is das schon bekannt aber wenn nicht, probieren Sie es aus!

My apologies for writing in English, my German writing is very bad. I can read it well though! I went two times to Phantasialand last week, Wednesday April the 11th and Friday April the 13th. On Wednesday, me and my brother went to ride only Taron all day but were forced to the Winja's by the rainy weather in the morning. Even in the rain, Taron still rode but you got drenched very fast! Here's a picture from Wednesday, no wheelcovers as you can see: And here is one from Friday: So, the wheel covers are in place again Waiting times were about 30 minutes both days. I could be mistaking but it seemed that there's less of a difference in speed during the day; even in the morning the trains rode pretty fast. Last Friday I made my 70th ride in Taron and still every one is a thrill. I sure am glad to live only an hour away from the greatest coaster I know!

Mein Entschuldigung, ich bin Niederlander und mein Deutsch is nicht so gut wie mein Englisch. Wass ist das record Taron fahren so weit bekannt? Ich hab schon gelesen das jemand 20 mal im dunkeln gefahren ist aber sind hier Leute die noch mehr gefahren sind im ein Tag? Auf ein richtig ruhigen Tag kann mann theoretisch 10-15 mahl pro Stunde fahren Ich finde Taron wirklich der Hammer aber weiss nicht ob es dann noch Spass mach ob das die Adrenaline dan "auf" ist. Ich gehe noch einmahl mit mein Bruder diese Woche und wir werden sehen was passiert!
